Lily Senner (b.1996 London) is a painter living and working in Newcastle,UK. Lily’s post pop style creates a playful tension between utopia and dystopia. Working from memory and imagination, her practice questions what our legacy will be on our surrounding environments through the creation of fantastical landscapes.
Lily utilises a bold, synthetic colour palette that alludes to an ambiguous sickliness that is permeating her pulsating works. Lily studied Fine art at The Royal Drawing school (2015) and Newcastle University (2019) where she developed her stylised approach to landscape painting. She works with multiple mediums including painting, drawing, photography and printmaking. Lily’s work belongs to several private collections and she is a member of The Working Class Creative Database.
